The Veteran’s Health Benefits Eligibility Reform Act of 1997 has created
a Comprehensive Medical Benefits Package – an enhanced health benefits
plan available to ALL veterans. Like other VA health care plans, the Medical
Benefits Package offers a full range of medical services, including hospitalizations,
doctor visits, prescription drugs and lab tests.
If you are a US veteran, and have not done so already, you should enroll in
Veteran’s Administration (VA) Healthcare System. Once enrolled, VA is
responsible for providing you a full continuum of care, through the Medical
Benefits Package.
One of the benefits of your enrollment is that you can get a 30-day supply
of your medication by agreeing to pay a drug co-payment, which is currently
only $ 7.
